So, you are convinced the the No Diet Diet Lifestyle is the right one for you.

After all, you’ve tried every possible diet in the world and the more weight you lost the more miserable you got.

And so you emerge on the path of food freedom and even though you are excited, you are also terrified.

As the weight creeps on (because, after all, you’ve kept your body weight at an extreme low for years, so low in fact that your body can’t but gain weight), you begin to panic.

I can’t live in a body that’s not thin, you think.

I can’t live in this body, you think.

I can’t live in a body that gains more and more weight, you believe.

I am terrified I’ll never stop gaining weight, you scream.

I am going on a diet, you determine.

A different diet.

A better one.

One that’ll make me stay sane.

But I just have to lose some weight.

Just a bit.

To get back my control.

To not let it all get out of hands.

To rescue what can still be rescued and to at least have some sense of body-love for the rest of my life.

This time, you are certain, it’ll be different.

This time, you’ll appreciate your body.

This time, you’ll be grateful for the weight you’ve lost.

This time, you will still live your life and not get too sucked into the dieting craze.

This time, it’ll be different.

Or will it?

This is what Deb and I talk about in this week’s episode of the Escape Diet Prison podcast.
