How often have you told yourself that once you’re thin, you’ll be happy/engaged/change your career/go and travel to that country/leave your husband and finally just do what you’ve always wanted to do?

If you’re like most of us, you’ve told yourself or at least thought that way a billion times.

And so we diet and fail (we think) and diet and fail again (or so we think) and get more and more miserable, seeing that dream of living the life we’ve always knew was right for us speedily drift into the horizon – never to be seen again.

Well, the thing is that we don’t have to rely on being thin in order to live a life that actually is more true to the cravings of our soul. Shocking concept, I know.

And yet most of us don’t ever actually do it.

Most of us keep living in wishful thinking land, hoping that one day our then perfect bodies will give us the permission to be brave and true to ourselves that we have never given ourselves.
