Do you own your awesome?
If not, then this episode of Your Life Your Success will help you to tap into your pure awesomeness.
Rita Chand of ownyourawesome.org and I met at the World Domination Summit in Portland in July 2012 and instantly connected on a deep level. I’m thrilled that I get to share her story and her message with you today.
We talk about connecting people, technology and why people forget how brilliant they truly are.
Rita shares how her passion for raising awareness of bullying came about and why not only teenagers bully each other.
When Rita was 19, her parents, who are originally from India, arranged a marriage for her. Although her family wasn’t very traditional, a trip to India turned out to be different than Rita thought.
You can find the details of this story here.
Rita shares why her hair felt like a security blanket in her life and how she went from being a victim of her circumstances of life to choosing to be happy.
We also talk about my favorite topic: traveling and how it totally changes your perspective on life.

Thanks for sharing this Anne-Sophie and thank you Rita. I love the monsoon wedding piece and yes, I loved the movie too. In fact, it’s a nice reminder to go and watch it again.
e-hugs

Thank you for taking the time to listen to it Elle. And for reading the monsoon wedding piece. That was like peeling an onion for me as I wrote and I’m so grateful I had the balls to share the story. The book will be even better. I promise!
I have not watched that movie. Should I?
Absolutely. 🙂

It’s always fascinating, isn’t it? Traveling and different cultures make this life so so so much more fun and interesting. At least, that’s what I think. 🙂
