In this episode of Your Life Your Success, Sandy Ross of Body Bliss Central joins me to talk about food, the body, our body image and how we can change our relation to all of it. Sandy Ross is a holistic counsellor and coach based in Australia but she’s working with women around the world creating a *rocking* body image revolution!
I’m thrilled to share this episode with you and I know you’ll get a lot of value out of all the amazing tips and tricks and Aha-moments Sandy provides.
Sandy shares how you can look after yourself as a whole person and how Body Bliss Central came about and what the name means. We talk about the mind trap we’re all trapped in and how we can change that, why we don’t need to wait for anything to get the life that we want and what the diet industry does to our minds and lives and why there’s no quick fix.
We also touch on the weight loss risk that nobody talks about, how we can change the conversation about dieting and weight loss and how you can positively influence women around you.
Is the obesity crisis really just made up? And if so, what’s the real issue? We talk about that too!
We then go on to talk about the huge number of women who struggle with disordered eating. She goes on to share how her relationship with her body evolved in the last few years and how she feels about her body now.
Sandy also shares how EFT works and how you can use it to hear your body image struggles and more.

Great topic Anne-Sophie. Young girls, especially are so influenced by the pressure of society to look a certain way and how food. relates to all of that. These thoughts then continue on into adulthood and can be difficult to let go of. I feel that we should love ourselves for who we are, have goals and be healthy, but don’t put so much pressure on ourselves.
Totally agree with you, Cathy. The more we put that message of loving your *healthy* body out there, the better. I know how insecure young girls and women are and it’s so important to show them that they’re not alone at all. We all have these insecurities and we all just want to be confident, right?
