I believe from the bottom of my heart that if we women (or everyone for that matter) stopped dieting and hating on our bodies, we’d make this world a much, much better, more loving, safer and healthier place.
We’d save the world.
I believe – and have seen ample evidence in the past years – that if we redirect the time, energy, thoughts, money and actions from worrying about the exact amount we weigh and when/how/what we should eat not to gain weight or lose it all to a place of cultivating love for ourselves, our bodies and this world, we’d have a major impact on the sanity of humanity.
I believe that dieting plays a big role in what creates this sea of suffering that the world is drowning in.
I believe that the way out of dieting also means the way out of misery for this world.
Some say this is too much, too grand, there are WAY more important things to give up than dieting to save this world, and of course there are others, but the war we fight against our own HOME is the war that manifests outside of ourselves too.
Dieting is one of the MAJOR problems that needs to be eradicated in order for other, bigger, grander things to erupt and change to take place on a worldwide level.
But who am I kidding, if we let go of dieting collectively, the big eruption would simply happen – almost by itself.
Are you going to be part of the solution or will you continue to create the problems for the kids to come? A radical question, I know, but one that needs to be asked, faced and honestly answered.
Now’s the time to take a stand.
Now’s the time to heal yourself.
Now’s the time to let your demons go once and for all.
Now’s the time to shed the skin that keeps you running in circles.
Now’s the time to save the world.
Are you in?
If yes, start by saving yourself.
