Today is a special day as I’m hosting the first ever self-love blogging carnival.
What’s a blogging carnival you ask?
Well, it’s a fun way of sharing love, inspiration and hope all over the world.
In the next seven days, you’ll see bloggers from all over the web (and the world) writing about self-love and self-care in all its forms: personal stories, tips, musings, advice, dreams, hopes, aspirations, anything relating to their personal stories and struggles with loving, accepting and respecting themselves.
You’ll also find daily posts of inspiration here on my site with a roundup of all bloggers who participated on that day.
I’m so humbled by all the amazing bloggers who’ve raised their hands and wanted to be part of this experience and I know this’ll be a game changer for many of us who struggle with our self-image!
So, get ready for an awesome way of self-love and self-care and if you’d like to join, we’d love to have you onboard. Just write a comment below and I’ll send you all the details you need to participate. It’s easy and fun!
Today’s roundup!
Laura Yamin of joyfulshimmy.com kicks off our self-love series by sharing her struggles with implementing a self-care morning routine and how she finally adopted a routine that enlivens her, grounds her and gets her ready for the day. Check out her powerful post here (http://bit.ly/18gg1X2).
Be sure to check this site again tomorrow, so that you won’t miss out on all the fun.
Much love,
Anne-Sophie
Self love and acceptance is extremely difficult as an adult when you have spent much of your time hating yourself; harming yourself; doing the exact opposite of what normal people do without thinking. You try to reverse it but you still can not completely forgive yourself and that leaves holes inside that warrant worthlessness that can’t or won’t go away. I know. I have been on this road. Yet I keep trying over and over to love and accept what I am. One day. Maybe
I’m here to celebrate your persistence and all your hard work. Trust that the universe has your back, Karen. This is a road you will walk all the way and you will get to that place that say: Finally, here it is, my self-love. You are worthy, no matter how you feel, how you behave or how much you want to harm yourself. You ARE WORTHY. Worthy of love, worthy to be seen, worthy to be taken care of. Much, much love and light.
Hi Anne-Sophie. I know I’m late, but would love to join you for the self-love carnival. Is it still possible? http://www.waytogograce.com
I’d LOVE to have you join us. How can I email you the details?
